Campaign | Budget Setup
The first lesson in this course provides an introduction to the paid search world by reviewing the campaign dashboard in order to familiarize you with the (PPC) pay-per-click environment. Participants will learn how to develop campaigns based on geo-targeting and timing as well as how to set up a budget that includes restrictions and daily-spend limits. This lays the foundation for a cost-effective and successful paid search campaign.
Adgroup Compilation
Understanding the synergy between keywords, negative keywords, AdWords and landing pages is a critical component of developing a profitable paid search campaign. This module will teach participants how to properly and effectively select and group keywords for association with the relevant landing pages.
ROI Tracking | Analytics
As with any marketing effort, the results are best judged as a return on your investment. This module in the course instructs participants on how to measure the results of your pay-per-click campaigns. You will also be given an overview of using A/B testing to understand its importance when configuring landing pages.
Bing | Yahoo Adcenters
While Google retains a majority 72% share of the searches conducted everyday, Yahoo and Microsoft (Bing) maintain a search marketshare representing up to 25% of the US market. Any serious paid-search campaign should contain a budget for Yahoo and Microsoft in addition to Google. This module provides a basic understanding of the differences between these two platforms and Google Adwords.
